RECEPTION - SUNFLOWERS (SUMMER TERM)
Reception have been looking at sunflowers. We planted sunflower seeds and learnt about what plants need to survive. We identified the parts of a plant: flower, stem, leaves and roots and learnt what they are for. As our sunflowers have started to grow, we have observed any changes and been very proud of our seedlings! Take a look at our amazing observational drawings of sunflowers too! We worked hard to make sure there was lots of detail and we had included all the parts of the sunflower. We have also created some lovely recreations of Van Gogh's 'Sunflowers' painting - which one is your favourite?
