Bluebirds offers wraparound care for all Cobbs children aged 2 to 7 years old, within designated EYFS and KS1 rooms. Our dedicated and caring staff deliver activities which engage and excite all children. Following the school’s ethos, we provide a nurturing, safe and fun environment where children can learn and play.
We’re proud to support families and working parents by providing high-quality childcare all year round, right within our school community.

Opening Times and Prices

Booking
Booking a place at Bluebirds is easy! If it is your first time booking wraparound care, please contact the school office to be added to the list on ParentPay. Our office staff can support you in your booking and share the different payment options with you. We recommend booking in advance to secure your child’s spot and help us plan a safe, fun and engaging experience for every child. If you need a last-minute reservation, just contact us and we will check availability. We’re here to support your family every step of the way. Childcare vouchers are accepted as payment.
Activities
At Bluebirds, we offer a wide range of engaging activities designed to inspire creativity, develop skills and keep children having fun! From arts and crafts, baking and messy play to sports, outdoor adventures and music time, there’s something for every child to enjoy. We also welcome special visitors who bring exciting new experiences to our sessions.

Meal Times at Bluebirds
We coordinate closely with the school dinner menu to provide a varied and balanced diet for all children. Our nutritious meals follow a carefully planned alternating two-week menu (from September 2025), ensuring your little ones enjoy healthy and tasty food every day. We also cater for allergies and intolerances, so every child’s dietary needs are met with care and attention.
Breakfast:
- Choice of cereals
- Pancakes/Crumpets
- Milk/Milk alternatives
- Fruit (blueberries, strawberries, melon)
After School:
Children are offered a variety of different foods with our menu changing regularly to reflect the seasons.
