WELCOME TO THE COBBS INFANT AND NURSERY SCHOOL

We hope our website will provide you with some useful information about our school.

At The Cobbs Infant and Nursery School, we aim to provide the very best education for children between the ages of 2 and 7. We strongly believe in a partnership approach where everyone works together so that the children achieve their potential in a caring environment.

Our Key Stage One test results are consistently high and we aim to ensure that each child fulfils his or her capabilities. We aim to develop a confident child who has a firm foundation in the basic skills, a wide variety of interests and who can look forward to the next phase of educational experience with eager anticipation.

If you require any further information or would like to look around the school, please do not hesitate to contact us.

PRIMARY ARTS NETWORK 2019

PAN Artwork - 2019

PAN Performance - 2018

The PAN (Warrington Primary Arts Network) launches on Thursday 14th February.  This is an annual event where schools involved in this group produce artwork and productions around a given theme.  This year’s theme is ‘We are Warrington’ and our school element is ‘Lewis Carroll’ and many of the children have contributed to the exhibition which is now on display in Warrington Library until 14th March.  There are also exhibitions at The Pyramid and The Gateway.  It is well worth a visit to see the high standard of the work of our children and also that of forty other schools across Warrington.  We are one of two Infant only schools in Warrington.  This will be as spectacular as ever so please do try and visit after school or during half term. This year there is chance to win a family ticket (for up to 5) to see ‘Elmer the Patchwork Elephant’ at The Parr Hall on Sunday 31st March. To enter the competition simply visit the exhibition and tweet a photograph of you, or something that you have seen at the exhibition, and include @warringtonPAN in your tweet. A tweet will be selected at random to win the tickets.

FUNDRAISING AT THE CO-OP

We have been very fortunate to be chosen by the local Co-op stores as one of their local charities.  A percentage of all the branded goods you buy from the store is donated to our school and also to yourself.  The money is split between three causes but if you log onto their site at membership account you can allocate us as your chosen charity.  It does not cost anything at all and we would be grateful of your support.  You can view our page at https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/25467
