From September '24, we are asking children to come dressed in their PE kit on the days they do PE.

All clothing should be clearly marked with your child’s name.  No jewellery to be worn for school, including no earrings for PE.

Jewellery should not be worn in school as the equipment used during lessons means that this would be a health and safety risk. This includes pierced earrings. They MUST NOT be worn on the days your child has PE. If children arrive in school with earrings in on those days, the child will be asked to take them out themselves. If they can’t be taken out, your child will not be able to take part in the active PE lesson and will be a peer observer watching their class.  The only exception to this is if children have very recently had their ears pierced, parents can tape their child’s ears before sending them to school and then the child can participate.   This must be micropore tape and not plasters.  After the six weeks healing time, please send your child in without earrings on PE days, or, teach your child how to remove them.  The days your child does PE each week are displayed on the What’s On each week and remain the same throughout the academic year.   Children are also asked not to wear nail varnish to school.
