The Cobbs Infant and Nursery School

In addition to school-run clubs we also have out of school hours clubs run by outside agencies.  These clubs are chosen to provide a wide variety of activities for our children.

After School Clubs

ABC Childcare

ABC Childcare aims to provide quality, affordable childcare during out of school hours. The management and staff will strive to provide a caring, fun environment for all children attending, inclusive of a range of activities.

ABC Childcare operates in partnership with both The Cobbs Infant and Nursery School and Broomfields Junior School to provide care for children both before and after school and during school holidays.

Cookery

The children will learn how to prepare simple dishes, learn where the ingredients come from and how we use them in the cooking and baking. Children are provided with all the ingredients and resources to make something and they will take it home to cook. Lego

Children can use their imagination linked to the theme of the week. Examples include: - building a farm, favourite character from a movie, - bridges, - Easter egg and Easter bunny. The coach will bring in more amazing ideas for the children to build along with giving them some STEM sessions and problem solving for the children. The amazing part of the Lego club there is no right or wrong answer ...... it’s their creativity!

French

In ‘Les Petits Pois’ After school fun French club the children will be learning fruits in French with the Very Hungry Caterpillar, they will also be learning French words about the seaside and doing role play activities such as ordering ice creams, pizza and pretending to go shopping. The sessions are packed with songs, games, puppets, props, stories and fun! Each week they do a colouring or craft to bring home. The sessions help develop your child's imagination and provide a lifelong passion for language learning.

Dance

Shake, spin, and shimmy in the Dance Club! Calling all budding dancers to join us for a fun-filled exploration of movement and rhythm. Learn new dance routines, express yourself through music and make friends as you twirl and tap your way through various dance styles. Join us for laughter, creativity and lots of fancy footwork!

Dodgeball

Duck, dodge, and dive into the Dodgeball Club! This action-packed club is perfect for children who love friendly competition and staying active. Test your reflexes, teamwork, and strategy as you dodge balls and aim for targets. Join us for a thrilling time of laughter, exercise and good sportsmanship!

Gymnastics

Leap, flip and balance in the Gymnastics Club! Join us for an exciting journey through the world of gymnastics where you can learn to tumble, jump and stretch like a pro. Athletics

Run, jump, and throw in the Athletics Club! Whether you dream of being the next track star or simply love to play and have fun, this club is for you. Football

Score goals and make memories in the Football Club! Join us for an exciting adventure on the football field where you can learn new skills, play games and make friends.
