RECEPTION - STARRY NIGHT (SPRING TERM)
We have been learning about the artist Vincent Van Gogh in our art lessons and looked at lots of his work. We created our own versions of his picture 'Starry Night'. In Class 1 we used paint to create the sky and the background and then used pens to draw the buildings and the trees. Class 2 used paint and oil pastels to create our own versions of the famous painting. Class 3 mixed paints for the blue background, yellow and white for the stars and moon and darker grey and browns for the tree. We even had a go at adding yellow paint with a fine paint brush to create the light in the buildings. Which one is your favourite recreation?
