The Cobbs Infant and Nursery School

Each morning we come into school and hang up our coats. We put our things away independently in our trays. We sit down quietly on the carpet for registration. Every morning we have an English lesson... ...and a Maths lesson. In the classroom we enjoy playing in our roleplay area. We join the rest of the school for assembly in the hall. At playtime we like to play outside in the playground. At lunch time we line up sensibly and choose what we would like to eat... ...and then we sit down quietly and eat our lunch. After lunch we have our Phonics lesson. We enjoy going to the IT Suite for our computer lesson each week. We also go to the hall for indoor PE once a week. We can read in our Reading Corner... .. or, in our Reading Den. We also have lots of places to play and learn in our outdoor area - the chalk board... ...the water area... ...the mark making/writing table... ...the sand kitchen.... ...and we like to use our imagination when building with the crates. We try to run around the track every day, if it's not raining! We read with our teacher. We have Rainbow Challenges to complete once a week, like the Finger Gym. Once a week in an afternoon we do outdoor PE.
