CYGNETS
SPRING TERM 1, 2026
The topic for The Cygnets this half term is ‘Under the Sea.” We will be learning the names of sea creatures, matching fish patterns and creating our own shiny fish. Our outdoor role play area will be a submarine to allow us to dive under the water to find ocean treasures! We will be moving our bodies like sea creatures and creating waves using the parachute.
During February, we will be celebrating Chinese New Year through dance and art. We will also be tasting some delicious Chinese food.
SPRING TERM 2, 2026
Our topic this half term is ‘Dinosaurs'. As always we are continuing to develop our independence skills by practising putting our coats on, taking them off and hanging them up as well as taking off and putting on shoes and socks.
We are looking forward to the start of Spring and will be visiting the Wild Garden to look for shoots and flowers. During this half term we will be planting our own seeds, singing Springtime songs and growing like a flower in our dance sessions.
